Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 18, 2026

Welcome to East Coast Hood Cleaning. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the services provided by East Coast Hood Cleaning (“East Coast Hood Cleaning,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using our website, requesting an estimate, scheduling service, or purchasing services from East Coast Hood Cleaning, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

East Coast Hood Cleaning provides commercial kitchen exhaust and related cleaning services, which may include hood cleaning, grease filter cleaning, exhaust fan cleaning, ductwork cleaning, rooftop exhaust equipment cleaning, and related services.

The exact scope of work for each customer will be determined by the estimate, work order, service agreement, invoice, or other agreement provided for that particular job.

2. Estimates and Pricing

Estimates are based on the information available to us at the time they are provided.

Pricing may vary depending on factors such as the size and condition of the exhaust system, accessibility, grease accumulation, number of hoods or fans, required labor, and additional services requested.

If conditions are discovered that substantially change the scope of work, East Coast Hood Cleaning may discuss additional charges with the customer before performing work outside the originally agreed-upon scope.

3. Scheduling and Access

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable and safe access to the areas necessary to perform the scheduled services, including kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, ductwork, fans, and rooftop areas when applicable.

Customers should inform East Coast Hood Cleaning in advance of known hazards, damaged equipment, restricted areas, access requirements, or other conditions that could affect the service.

Service times may occasionally need to be adjusted due to weather, equipment issues, emergencies, unsafe conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Before service begins, customers may be asked to remove or secure food, utensils, equipment, personal property, and other items located near the work area.

Customers are responsible for notifying East Coast Hood Cleaning of any pre-existing damage, malfunctioning equipment, leaks, electrical problems, structural concerns, or other known issues that could affect the cleaning process.

5. Condition of Equipment

Commercial kitchen exhaust systems may contain pre-existing wear, corrosion, damage, improper installation, loose components, deteriorated seals, electrical issues, or other conditions that become visible during cleaning.

East Coast Hood Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects that were not caused by our services.

If we discover a condition that may make it unsafe or impractical to continue cleaning, we may stop or modify the service until the issue can be addressed.

6. Results

We aim to provide thorough, professional cleaning services. However, results can vary depending on the age, condition, accessibility, construction, previous maintenance, and level of grease accumulation within the system.

Cleaning services do not constitute a guarantee that a property will pass any particular inspection or that a fire, equipment malfunction, or other incident will never occur.

7. Before and After Documentation

East Coast Hood Cleaning may take photographs of equipment and work areas before, during, and after service for documentation, quality-control, and recordkeeping purposes.

We will not intentionally publish images that identify a customer's business for advertising or promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

8. Payment

Payment terms will be provided on the applicable estimate, invoice, work order, or service agreement.

Customers are responsible for paying amounts due according to the agreed payment terms.

Additional work requested by the customer beyond the original scope may result in additional charges.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Customers should contact East Coast Hood Cleaning as soon as possible if a scheduled service needs to be canceled or rescheduled.

Any cancellation fee, deposit requirement, or other scheduling policy applicable to a particular job should be communicated before service is confirmed.

10. Recurring Services

Customers who choose recurring cleaning services may have service performed according to an agreed schedule.

The frequency of service may depend on the customer's operations, equipment, cooking volume, and other relevant factors.

Recurring service arrangements may be changed or canceled according to the terms of the applicable service agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, East Coast Hood Cleaning will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
